EFA GROUP: Strategic investments after the capital increase led by institutional investors
On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, EFA Group announced an €80m capital increase with the entry of two strategic institutional investors: Motor Oil Group (via IREON Ventures) and EOS Capital Partners AIFM (via EOS Hellenic Renaissance Fund II). A step that strengthens the Group’s long-term vision and accelerates its international growth trajectory.
The investment supports a new cluster-based structure, bringing together 13 specialized companies into four Technology Clusters covering unmanned and autonomous systems, mission systems and AI, integrated services, and sensors and targeting. Together, they form a One-Stop-Shop for advanced defense and dual-use solutions, with Greece as the industrial and technological base.
Founder Christian Hadjiminas noted that the Group is building “a strong and innovative core of defense technology, combining Greek know-how with targeted international partnerships, and moving decisively toward the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
CEO Dr. Grigorios K. highlighted that EFA Group is “entering a new era of dynamic growth, focusing on high-demand technologies, modern industrialization, and international expansion across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.”
From the investors’ side, Nick Giannakakis (Group Chief Information Officer of Motor Oil Group) emphasized that the partnership “strengthens our technology ecosystem and accelerates innovation in critical areas such as cybersecurity and resilience,” while Nicholas Chryssanthopoulos (Senior Partner of EOS Capital Partners) described the investment as “a vote of confidence in a truly outward-looking Greek group with innovation at its core.”
Within the framework of this strategy, EFA GROUP plans to inaugurate in the second quarter of 2026 the “EFA GROUP Antikythera Tech Campus”, a state-of-the-art manufacturing complex in Koropi that is already fully operational, designed to host a complete ecosystem of cutting-edge technologies in the fields of Electronic Warfare, Space Systems, Software, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones).
