Create the Beauty That Moves the World: A Spectacular Experience at the French Embassy
At a time when beauty is being redefined through the values of sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility, L’Oréal Hellas presented its vision for the future at the 2025 Annual Press Event, held on Wednesday, May 14. The event emphasized how beauty can—and must—serve as a force for positive change, always placing the Planet, Innovation, and People at the heart of its mission.
Held at the emblematic French Embassy, the event welcomed journalists from leading media outlets, content creators who have consistently supported the Group’s brands through partnerships, and students seeking inspiration and guidance for their professional paths. Also in attendance were strategic partners and NGO representatives, all part of the ecosystem that supports L’Oréal in Greece.
Guests embarked on an immersive journey across three themed rooms, enriched by a series of fireside chats featuring distinguished speakers. The event was opened by Alessandra Delfini, Country Managing Director of L’Oréal Hellas, who spoke about the Group’s vision to lead initiatives with a positive global impact, as well as the determination and accountability required to turn that vision into everyday action. The first fireside chat explored Sustainability in Marketing, featuring Ms. Nerina Komioti, General Manager of the Hellenic Advertisers Association, in conversation with Mr. Alexis Epithymiadis, Head of Media at L’Oréal Hellas. This was followed by a discussion between Ms. Dimitra Petridi, Corporate Affairs and Engagement Director at L’Oréal Hellas, and Ms. Angeliki Kosmopoulou, Founder of the nonprofit organization Storymentor, highlighting the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility in an ever-changing world.
The first stop, the Planet Room, focused on the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship. Attendees explored L’Oréal’s global sustainability initiatives, which prioritize responsible resource consumption, a transition to 100% renewable energy, and the development of green spaces within urban environments—such as the groundbreaking microForest on Alepotrypa Hill.
Next was the Innovation Room, a celebration of L’Oréal’s scientific and technological excellence. Participants had the opportunity to discover cutting-edge innovations—from La Roche-Posay’s new Melasyl & Mexoryl technology in Anthelios 400, offering enhanced protection against hyperpigmentation, to Garnier’s Pimple Patches, which visibly reduce imperfections in just eight hours. Each product showcased L’Oréal’s commitment to excellence and care for all skin types.
Highlights included Lancôme’s pioneering Renergie H.C.F. Triple Serum, a powerful anti-aging product that delivers high performance through a unique three-chamber packaging system, and Vichy’s new Collagen 16 Serum, featuring co-bonding technology that boosts collagen production by up to 350% and improves 16 visible signs of aging.
The experience continued with the introduction of K-SCAN, Kérastase’s new smart diagnostic camera, which uses artificial intelligence to analyze scalp and hair conditions in depth, offering highly personalized care solutions with precision.
The final stop, the People Room, offered a deeply emotional experience through a curated photo exhibition by renowned photographer Kosmas Koumianos, highlighting the social impact initiatives of L’Oréal brands. From Maybelline New York’s global Brave Together initiative for youth mental empowerment in collaboration with the Society for Regional Development and Mental Health (EPAPSY), to L’Oréal Paris’ Stand Up program against street harassment with W.I.N. Hellas, guests gained insight into the company’s powerful social contributions.
Garnier showcased its “Green Beauty” environmental initiative, in partnership with All For Blue, while La Roche-Posay presented its ongoing support for oncology patients, in collaboration with the “Floga” Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Disease and the “AgaliaZO” Volunteer Cancer Support Group.
The Abuse Is Not Love campaign by YSL Beauty and W.I.N. Hellas sparked a powerful conversation around gender-based violence, while the Social Hair Salon by L’Oréal Professional Products moved attendees with its impact, reminding everyone that care is not just a moment—it is a genuine human need.
The day concluded with a shared sense of purpose among all attendees—united by the belief that beauty can be both an intention and an action toward building a better world.
