We are delighted to announce that we are partnering with the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) for the 10th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium, set to take place in Athens, at the Maroussi Plaza Centre, on 3-5 June 2025.

We are proud to announce that the Energy & Climate Change Committee of the CCI France Grèce is organizing its own thematic panel, on Tuesday, June 3rd at 15:30, on the topic: "Reconciling Legacy Power Grids and the Growth of Renewable Investments: Overcoming the Duck Curve & Boosting Grid Flexibility", bringing valuable insights into the energy transition dialogue.

This year marks a major milestone for HAEE—ten years of advancing energy transition and sustainability. Since its inception, the HAEE Energy Transition Symposium has been a key forum for dialogue, research, and collaboration, bringing together experts and policymakers to tackle the sector’s biggest challenges. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s Symposium will focus on scaling up renewable energy to meet national and EU climate goals for 2030 and 2050. Topics include policy incentives, energy storage, offshore wind in the Aegean, alternative fuels, and infrastructure upgrades like smart grids and interconnectivity. With a focus on a fair and inclusive transition, the event will highlight innovation, job creation, community support, and solutions to energy poverty—driving progress toward a sustainable and resilient energy future.

Prominent figures from across the energy sector will enhance the Symposium’s Plenary Sessions, including influential thought leaders, government officials, and executives from leading companies and NGOs. ENERGY INITIATIVE AWARDS

Commemorating HAEE’s 10th anniversary, the Symposium will introduce the “Energy Initiative Awards”, designed to celebrate innovation and excellence within the energy sector. The awards ceremony will take place on June 3, 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Maroussi Plaza Centre. Outstanding initiatives will be honored across eight distinguished categories, recognizing impactful contributions to the sector’s progress.

Attendance at Awards ceremony is free, but registration is required.
